Step 1: Schedule a Fitting Appointment with our Bluebell Bridal Team. This can be done online for brides who have purchased their gowns elsewhere or by calling 9662 3331 for Bluebell brides.  Once your chosen wedding gown has arrived, the first step is to schedule an Alterations appointment at Bluebell Bridal. At this appointment, you will meet with your alterations expert, to discuss your alteration needs and preferences.  This appointment runs for one hour and can be booked from Tuesday – Fridays ( not weekends) We recommend booking your fitting appointment several months in advance, allowing sufficient time for any necessary alterations. Generally, we suggest that your alterations should start about 8-10 weeks ahead of your special day.

Step 2: Expert Evaluation: During your fitting appointment, your personal alterations specialist will evaluate your gown’s fit, your fit desires and the design. This evaluation is crucial as it helps determine the alterations needed to achieve the desired fit and look. Your specialist will discuss options with you, taking into account your figure, measurements, and any specific alterations you may have in mind.

Step 3: Precise Measurements: To ensure a flawless fit, precise measurements will be taken during the first fitting appointment. Your specialist will measure every relevant aspect, including bust, waist, hips, and length. Please bring your shoes! These measurements will serve as a guide for subsequent alterations, with any weight change from this time on not recommended, as extra fees may apply.

Step 4: In-Depth Discussions: During the fitting appointment, your specialist will engage in in-depth discussions to understand your unique requirements. You have the freedom to share your vision or  any other customizations you desire. Your expert will provide professional guidance, suggesting alterations that can enhance the overall fit and style of your gown.

Step 5: At this time and before any pinning starts you’ll be provided with a verbal quote. If you decide to proceed a 50% deposit will be required for the alterations to commence. If not, we can email your quote to you.

Step 5: Alterations Commence: After the fitting appointment, alterations of your wedding gown will begin. Our talented seamstresses will meticulously tailor your dress, ensuring that every alteration is carried out with precision and attention to detail. We understand the sentimental value of your gown and handle each alteration with the utmost care, using high-quality materials and techniques.

Step 6: Additional Alterations Appointments: Once the initial alterations have been made, the next step is to schedule a series of fitting sessions to refine the fit and make any necessary adjustments. These additional appointment run for 30 minutes. Your specialist  will work closely with you, making required changes until your gown fits perfectly and reflects your vision.

Step 7: Expert Fittings:  Each detail is executed with precision and craftsmanship, transforming your gown into a unique masterpiece that reflects your individual style.

Step 8: Time to Get Married:  After all the alterations and final touches are complete, it’s time to try on your wedding gown one last time. At this point, you’ll be amazed at how the gown has been transformed into a perfect fit tailored specifically to you. This exciting moment gives you the reassurance that you’ll walk down the aisle feeling confident and radiant on your special day. At this time when you are ready to go home, final payment is required.
